"Me and my wife had breakfast here today. First thing walking through the door took me back to my child hood. Going in to the general stores across the rural countys of Kentucky. Born and raised here my whole life. Made from scratch biscuits and gravy. I know that gravy was made the way my grandmother used to. I'm 52 now and it is nice to see some places like this still exist. Definitely recommend, I will definitely be going back to try their dinner menu."

"Had the special, pork tenderloin came with 3 sides and a roll it was very good. It could of been warmer in the restaurant eating area. Don't miss going downstairs to see additional store items. Will definitely stop back if in the area."

"Pork chop was locally sourced and was from an heirloom breed. It was great, wish it was a tab thicker. Server probably needs to dress a bit more professionally. VERY reasonable prices."

"My sister and I explored this shop for a bit and we loved it! There were many cute artisan goods and cute products. It feels like such a precious, small-town general store. The wax melts we smelled were AMAZING! We found the shop to be so sweet and we hope to return!"

"If you are passing through, and they are open, you must stop in and visit the Augusta General Store. I’ve brought a group out from my church, which is about an hour drive, on multiple occasions. The meals aren’t too fancy, but they are just right, and they always have a great selection of pies… but my personal favorite is the Peanut Butter Shake!"
